COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN FOR BUSINESS OWNERS IN LONDON
We work with business owners who value considered decision-making and long-term outcomes.
Projects often begin with uncertainty. A potential site, a lease under review or an existing space that no longer supports how a business operates. Early decisions shape cost, programme and viability, and are difficult to reverse once made.
Our role is to provide clarity at these early stages, helping translate commercial objectives into spaces that function well, respect their context and support sustainable growth over time.

UNDERSTANDING THE REALITIES
OF BUSINESS-LED PROJECTS
From our experience, business owners commonly face a similar set of challenges:
Assessing the suitability of a property or lease before commitment
Understanding planning, landlord and regulatory constraints
Balancing operational needs with spatial quality and identity
Coordinating multiple consultants and approval processes
Working within fixed budgets and defined timescales
Maintaining continuity of operations during refurbishment or fit-out
Our work is structured to respond to these realities with care, rigour and proportion.

A MEASURED,
STRATEGIC APPROACH
Our approach is grounded in analysis and dialogue. Before design begins, we take time to understand how your business operates, how decisions are made and what success looks like in practice.
We support business owners through:
Early-stage feasibility and spatial assessments
Strategic planning and layout studies informed by operations
Integrated architectural and interior design development
Planning strategy and coordination with authorities and landlords
Technical documentation aligned with regulatory requirements
Construction-stage support to maintain quality and consistency
Scope and level of involvement are always agreed in advance, ensuring the process remains appropriate to the scale and ambition of the project.

OUR PROCESS
Successful commercial projects begin with clarity.
Our work typically starts with a conversation to understand your objectives, constraints and operational priorities. From there, we help define a strategy before design solutions are explored, ensuring decisions are grounded in the realities of the building, the business and the regulatory framework.
1 FEASIBILITY & PREPARATION
We begin by assessing constraints, opportunities and risks. This may include site visits, lease review, operational analysis and early planning insight. The outcome is a clear brief and a shared understanding of viability before further commitments are made.
Stage: Feasibility RIBA Stages 0–1
Involved: Atelier EURA and client
Planning insight: Pre-application advice where appropriate (typically 4–5 weeks)

Using the outcomes of feasibility, we develop concept and developed designs with equal attention to function, spatial quality and buildability. Architecture and interiors are developed together, informed by consultant input and regulatory context.
Stage: Design RIBA Stages 2–3
Involved: Atelier EURA, design team and client
Planning: Typically 8–12 weeks
Freeholder: Typically 8 weeks
2 DESIGN STAGE

3 ILLUSTRATIONS
Digital models and visuals are used where helpful to support discussion, approvals and decision-making, particularly for complex layouts or landlord engagement.

Planning pathways vary significantly between sites. We identify requirements early and, where appropriate, support pre-application discussions, planning submissions, Listed Building Consent and landlord approvals, coordinating the process with care and clarity.
5 COMPLIANCE
Detailed technical information is prepared for regulatory approval (Building Control, the Building Safety Regulator and landlord approvals) . This information forms the basis of the tender process, supporting clarity and consistency.
Stage: Technical Design RIBA Stage 4

6 CONSTRUCTION
Where agreed, we support tendering and remain involved during construction to address queries, monitor quality and support delivery. The level of involvement is agreed in advance and tailored to the project.
Stage: Construction RIBA Stage 5
CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
"We couldn't have done this very challenging project without Cristina, her recommendations in terms of design but also suppliers allowed us to meet the budget and 2 week build timescales for an 8,000 sq ft site! She was hands on, extremely dedicated and really flexible around our unique project needs."

"Atelier EURA provided some 3D visuals which helped to develop the concept and were great for our pre-event marketing and to build the excitement."

CASE STUDIES
We work with businesses, adapting our architectural and interior design services to different commercial settings, regulatory frameworks and operational demands.
The projects below illustrate how our services adapt to different commercial contexts, scales and operational requirements.
PHOTOGRAPHS
While not every project is documented as a full case study, the images below offer insight into the range, character and technical context of our work.
They include projects within conservation areas, listed buildings and complex commercial environments, where design decisions are shaped as much by regulation and context as by aesthetics.
